No-Bake Christmas Wreath Cookies

My favorite Christmas Cookies to make this time of year are the no-bake Christmas wreath cookies. Both kids and Adults adore these delicious cornflake cookies during the holiday season. If these easy-to-make Wreath Cookies that you don’t even have to turn on the oven for don’t put you in the holiday spirit, then I don’t know what will. The Kids I nannied for went CRAZY for these cookies every December.

Just beware that the marshmallows make them extremely sticky. So, it might be a little tricky to make them into wreathes, but it is manageable to just take the time to create them into a wreath shape. Just make sure to add the red candies right away just so that they will stick to the stickiness before the wreathes harden.

You will only need a handful of ingredients for these Yumminess Cornflake Wreathes – Butter, Marshmallows, Cornflakes, Green Food Color, Vanilla, and Red Candies. I normally use red hot candies, but you can use the mini red m&m’s if you'd rather.

These Wreathes are fun to make with little kiddos. If you have kiddos make sure to include them in the fun, let them sort the mini m&m’s, let them help stir the marshmallows and even let them try to make their own type of wreaths, let them get creative. They don’t have to look perfect. Make it a Family affair. They are more fun to eat.

Christmas Wreath Cookies

This recipe for no-bake Christmas wreath cookies has just six ingredients and can be made in 10 minutes. These cornflake wreaths are a festive addition to your holiday dessert table!

Prep Time: 10 min

Cook Time: 5 min

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter {1/2 Cup}
  • 30 large Mashmallows
  • 6 drops of Green food coloring
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Vanilla extract
  • 5 cups of Cornflakes
  • 1 bottle of red hot candies or 1/2 cup of red mini m&m's
  • Cooking Spray

Instructions

  1. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

  2. Place the marshmallows and butter in a large bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments until melted.

  3. Add the green food coloring and vanilla; stir until the marshmallow mixture is smooth.

  4. Add the cornflakes to the bowl and gently stir to coat the cereal evenly with the marshmallow mixture.

  5. Pack the mixture into a greased 1/4 cup measuring cup and turn out onto the sheet pan. Use your fingers to make a hole in the middle to form a wreath shape and decorate with red candies. It's easiest to form the wreath holes if your fingers are damp or coated in cooking spray.

  6. Cool completely until firm and serve.
